Prior to release, CPI clients take classes on
preparing job applications and succeeding in
interviews. They attend a transition preparation
support group for six weeks and work one-on-one
with a case manager to develop personal goals
and a release plan.

Sponsor
a Client
Call 512.502.9704
Ensure one client has what he/she needs to make
their transition and begin living a new life in our
community by offering them a scholarship into the TPRE
program.
With just 5% of what it costs to reincarcerate
an offender, a scholarship can provide clothing, ID
and transportation needed for job interviews, support
groups, individual counseling and case management through
90 days of full-time employment.
This is a great way for local employers with
policies prohibiting the hire of a candidate with a
felony offense from being hired to help us find them
a job at a company that can.

State Employee Charitable Campaign
Thanks to the generosity of Texas state employees, the State
Employee Charitable Campaign (SECC) raised a record of nearly
$7.5 million for charitable organizations serving their communities,
state, nation, world, and environment. The SECC raised $500
for CPI in 2006, and we expect even more this year! Use the
